SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are investigating another Thanksgiving Day shooting on the northwest side of the city near Balcones Heights.
Police were called to the 3600 block of Fredericksburg Road around 1:30 p.m. after witnesses heard multiple gunshots.
A sergeant on scene said a man was struck in the lower back but remains in stable condition.
Police also say the man was being uncooperative with police. A description of the suspect was not provided.
SAPD believes the suspect and the victim are homeless and live in a nearby encampment.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
