SAN ANTONIO — Police have arrested a suspect who they say shot a man multiple times on the southeast side early Saturday morning.
According to police on scene, a man, 45, was shot in a parking lot on Quig Drive early Saturday morning. Another man was with the victim but was not injured.
At about 2:58 a.m., police responded to an apartment complex in the 6800 block of Pecan Valley Drive, where they thought they had the suspects inside a unit. Upon further investigation, the people inside were considered witnesses who ran after the shots were fired.
No other injuries were reported.
David Monroe Armstead, 39, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a felony.
