SAN ANTONIO — Another arrest has been made in connection to a 15-year-old boy being sent to the hospital in critical condition after he and his mom were shot at while driving into an apartment complex on the west side back in February.
Police said they believe there are two suspects who fired shots but were able to arrest the second suspect, according to an arrest affidavit.
The first suspected arrested was identified as Zakar Polk back in March. The second suspect has been identified as Timothy Rodriguez who is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to an affidavit.
The incident occurred at the Haven at Westover Hills around 10 p.m. on Feb. 22.
Investigators say the woman was at the gate of an apartment complex when her car was shot at.
The woman's teenage son was shot in the head after a gun was fired from a man standing outside with a group of people near the front office, according to SAPD. The woman drove off after her son was shot.
The teen is reportedly still in critical condition.
Police say at least five people were involved in the shooting. The mother was not injured in the shooting.
