Motorcyclist hit by SUV driver, breaking both his arms, SAPD says

Police say the SUV driver was turning around to park when he hit the motorcyclist, sending him crashing into another vehicle.

SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist was hit by an SUV driver, sending him crashing into another vehcile and breaking both of his arms, according to police.

San Antonio Police responded to the 800 block of North Alamo Street in downtown San Antonio around 11 p.m. for reports of a motorcycle crash.

Officers say the driver of the SUV was turning around to park when he struck the motorcyclist in another lane, sending him crashing into another vehicle. The motorcyclist was taken to BAMC with two broken arms and plenty of scrapes and bruises.

Police checked out the driver of the SUV for signs of intoxication, but say that so far  it’s looking like just an accident. No charges are expected to be filed.
