A joint law enforcement effort landed a murder suspect behind bars on Wednesday.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and Lone Star Fugitive Task Force tracked down Alex Ortiz in the 2000 block of Dollarhide Avenue.
They say that on March 29, Ortiz shot and killed 29-year-old Mark Hughes during an argument at the Jasper Mobile Homes on Walzem Road.
