SAPD asking for help locating murder suspect in deadly Sonic shooting

A murder warrant has been issued for Adiah Damir Roberson.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are asking for the public's help locating a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting at a Sonic on the northwest side that occurred earlier in July. 

Police said Adiah Damir Roberson shot and killed restaurant manger Daniel Shrewsbury at the Sonic location near Babcock Road and Huebner Road on July 7. 

Authorities were able to identify Roberson as the shooter after receiving numerous tips from the community, officials said. 

A warrant has been issued for Roberson's arrest. Police encourage Roberson to turn herself in.
