NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Two New Braunfels police pursuits resulted in four people being arrested. One of the men arrested had a capital murder warrant out of Houston, according to police.
The first pursuit began around 10:15 a.m. when NBPD were called to the 2600 block of White Wing Way for a possible robbery. Two men fled the scene in a reported stolen white vehicle, according to police.
The pursuit traveled onto northbound I-35 and ended on the frontage road just before the Buc-ee's. Police say the suspect vehicle crashed into another vehicle, causing both suspects to flee on foot. They both were detained shortly after.
Both were taken to the Comal County Jail, but one was taken to a local hospital with a minor injury he sustained in the crash.
Police say one of the suspects had an active capital murder warrant out of Houston.
Both suspects now face additional charges of evading in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, among other likely charges.
The second pursuit happened around 12 p.m. in Guadalupe County that made its way into New Braunfels. Guadalupe County units were pursuing two men along Walnut Avenue at I-35. The pursuit ended at the Engel Road turnaround where the two men were detained.
Texas DPS is handling this investigation and there is no other information available.
