New Braunfels PD say this stolen U-Haul was used to steal $60,000 in bikes and equipment from a store

The burglary happened around 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2024.

SAN ANTONIO — A U-Haul box truck was used to steal multiple e-bikes and other equipment from a New Braunfels store last week, police said in a Facebook post

And, authorities say, the vehicle was stolen. 

The burglary happened early in the morning of Oct. 25 at Pedego Bikes on South Seguin Avenue, where police say a U-Haul with Arizona license plate AE37747 was used to haul away $60,000 in bikes and batteries. The vehicle was reported stolen from a U-Haul store less than two miles away, and has an Indiana Venture Across America design like the one shown below.

Law enforcement are also trying to determine who the suspects in the crime are.
