Police investigate serious wreck in Stone Oak

SAN ANTONIO — Two cars collided in a crash that happened quickly Tuesday night – and now one person is under arrest.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, Natalie J. Chapman, 36, faces a charge of intoxication assault.

Police said Chapman was driving a white Infiniti G35 that traveling east on Stone Oak Parkway and ran the red light. Around 9:15 p.m., officers from the SAPD responded to the major accident at Evans Road and Canyon Golf Road on the far north side.

According to preliminary information from police, the Infiniti struck the passenger side of the BMW, pushing the BMW over the curb on the southeast corner of the intersection and down an embankment. As a result of the collision, one person in the SUV suffered a fractured pelvis.
