SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Police Department is asking for assistance locating a vehicle they believe may be connected to a recent murder on the city's west side.

Investigators said Herrera was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Dartmouth and San Joaquin just after midnight.

Officers responded to a call from Herrera's mother, and found the front door obviously broken open and the Herrera in a bedroom with several gunshot wounds to the head.

Just an hour before the discovery, police said they drove by the home following a call reporting gunshots in the area, but did not find the source.

Investigators believe the shooting might be gang related.

Police ask anyone that sees the vehicle to immediately call 911.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
