401 grams of meth, firearms seized during SWAT team search warrant

Authorities said 401 grams of methamphetamine, 2 firearms and pounds of other drugs were seized during a search warrant conducted by SWAT team.

COMAL COUNTY, Texas — A man was arrested after a search warrant led to the seizure of several pounds of drugs and firearms in Comal County.

On Thursday, the Comal County Narcotics Unit, SWAT Team and K9 Unit conducted a search warrant on a premises believed to have narcotics. During the search, authorities said they arrested 46-year-old Randy Wayne Lofton after they said they found 1.5 pounds of marijuana, 256 grams of psilocybin, 401 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of various pills and 2 firearms on the premises.

Lofton was taken to the Comal County Jail on several narcotics charges that were not released by authorities as they said "this investigation is ongoing. Additional charges are pending."
