Two women are behind bars, after police said they went on a crime spree, robbing multiple victims.

The suspects were tracked down a month after police said they ambushed a woman and snatched her purse.

Wednesday, another possible victim spoke with Eyewitness News.

"On KENS 5, somebody sent me the video," said Anisa Mendiola.

She said she was the victim of a home burglary on Alan Hale Drive in Jan. 2016 and saw the clip that aired on KENS 5.

Police released the surveillance video, saying 23-year-old Keandra Simpson and 23-year-old Kathrine Martinez ambushed a victim outside a strip center near Bandera and Poss roads, making off with her purse last April.

Tips poured in, leading Leon Valley and San Antonio police to a north-side apartment complex Wednesday where they said stolen property was in plain sight.

With a warrant, police arrested Simpson at 2:45 p.m. She was charged with felony stolen credit card abuse.

It turns out, her suspected accomplice was already arrested on May 9. when police said Martinez went to pay a traffic ticket. She was handcuffed and charged with felony stolen credit card abuse.

Mendiola came to the Prue Road substation to give a statement Wednesday, after she said she's convinced it was her stolen bag in this surveillance video.

"My home was burglarized twice within a week. The credit cards were used at an H-E-B and a gas station," said Mendiola.
