SAN ANTONIO — An officer with the San Antonio Airport Police Department is accused of driving while intoxicated after she was taken into custody Monday night, officials said.
Rubi Tovar was arrested while off duty for a DWI by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) around 10 p.m.
Officials said Tovar has been placed on administrative duty, per protocol, while the department conducts an investigation into this incident.
Tovar has been employed by the airport's police department for one year.
