SAN ANTONIO — Two people reported being sexually assaulted by the same man on Monday after exchanging messages with him on social media, authorities say.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), 29-year-old Brandon Miller first messaged a woman on Snapchat before she went to his home. There, BCSO said in a Facebook post, Miller "was reported to have assaulted the victim at gunpoint" before he allegedly stole an unknown amount of cash from her and let her leave.
Another person then told authorities Miller contacted them through a different app, TextNow, and offered to pay for a manicure if they came to his home. BCSO says the victim did so, and Miller allegedly assaulted them at gunpoint as well before letting them leave.
Investigators were executing a search warrant at the suspect's home Tuesday when he arrived, despite telling law enforcement earlier that he was driving out of state. He was arrested at the scene, faces multiple charges of aggravated sexual assault and robbery, and is being held on bonds totaling $350,000.
BCSO is asking that anyone else who believes they may have been victimized by Miller contact the agency at (210) 335-6000 or bcsotips@bexar.org.
