SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio teen who was shot multiple times by a now former police officer has been arrested again.
Eric Cantu was arrested this weekend on a warrant of evading arrest. The warrant stems from an incident back in September. The arrest affidavit says Cantu was driving downtown playing loud music, when a bike officer tried to pull him over. The documents say Cantu sped off.
Cantu is facing a charge for theft in a separate case from June.
Cantu is at the center of a police use-of-force case. Former SAPD Officer James Brennand is facing charges of attempted murder for shooting Cantu in a McDonald's parking lot. Cantu was hit, and spent several weeks in the hospital.
