SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested after allegedly shooting another man at a party in a south-side neighborhood late Friday night.
Nathan Charles, 22, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
San Antonio police responded to a call on the 1000 block of Flanders Avenue just before midnight.
Authorities said upon arrival officers found a man in his 20s shot in the lower abdomen.
Police said the man and Charles were at a party when Charles became intoxicated, pulled out a firearm and shot the man.
Charles was detained at the scene.
The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
