SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio authorities found a 25-year-old man dead from "reported gunshot wounds" on the northeast side Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Police responded to a call for a shooting in progress at a shopping center parking lot on Perrin Beitel near Nacogdoches Road around 4 p.m.
Police say a young man pulled into the parking lot with an unknown weapon and fired multiple shots at a silver sedan that was parked in front of a nail salon. The suspect then jumped into a white sedan and was driven away.
Authorities say crews found Leontrey Alex Thomas dead in the driver's seat of the sedan.
Police continue to look for the gunman.
