SAN ANTONIO — Three teens are in juvenile custody in connection with separate investigations that unfolded at Seguin High School this week, police say.

The first involves the alleged assault of a 19-year-old disabled student in a restroom. According to Seguin Police Department (SPD) officials, a 15-year-old student recorded a 16-year-old peer bullying the victim before hitting him in the face.

"The student recorded the video can be heard audibly taunting the victim," SPD said in a release, adding the two teens were later identified and arrested.

The other incident involved alleged threats made on Wednesday, when multiple students alerted administrators that a 15-year-old "had made statements that he planned on shooting the school." That teen was later also taken into custody, though the credibility of the threats he allegedly made is unknown.

SPD said charges are expected to be filed against the students.

"Any violence or threat of violence involving a school will not be tolerated and will be investigated by our officers and detectives," SPD Chief Jason Brady said in a statement.
