SAN ANTONIO — A man is fighting for his life after a shooting at his northeast side apartment Thursday night.
The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Austin Highway near Rittiman Thursday.
Police say the victim was in his apartment with two other people when he was shot in the leg. Officers believe the bullet hit a possible artery.
It's still unclear what started the shooting, but police believe two other men were involved and drove off from the scene.
Investigators don't have a good description of them and it's unclear how they know the victim.
Police say the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
