SAN ANTONIO — A suspect is on the loose after police say they shot a man on the northwest side Friday night.
According to police, a victim was standing next to a parked vehicle around 10:56 p.m. in the 1500 block of NW 19th Street.
Authorities say an unknown suspect then approached the victim and fired several shots at him. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being shot below the waist and was taken to the hospital.
Multiple rounds also hit a nearby unoccupied vehicle and house. However no other injuries were reported.
Police say the suspect fled on foot and has not been located at this time. It is unknown what led up to this shooting.
