NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — A man has been arrested after officials say he stabbed his father to death.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, the Comal County Sheriff's Office responded to the 100 block of Dry Bear Creek in New Braunfels after receiving reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, deputies found 57-year-old William Tarnosky suffering from life-threatening stab wounds and immediately started to perform life-saving measures. When paramedics arrived, they continued to provide medical treatment but Tarnosky succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The suspect was on scene and identified as Tarnosky's son William Tarnosky Jr., 24. Deputies arrested him and took him to the Comal County Jail where he is facing a first-degree murder charge.
