Man pulled from car, stabbed along with family members who came to his aid, Houston police say

Police said four people total were stabbed and were able to drive themselves to a nearby emergency room before being taken to the hospital.

Four people were stabbed in the parking lot of an apartment complex in west Houston Monday night, according to the Houston Police Department. 

Houston police said several family members were attacked after a car crash.

This happened around 11 p.m. at the Aubrey apartments on Crescent Drive just north of Westheimer Road and east of South Kirkwood Drive.

Police said a group of men crashed into a man who was driving another car. Once they were able to stop him, the men pulled him from the car and began stabbing him.

Moments later, the family of the man pulled from the car ran to his rescue and they too were attacked and stabbed, police said.

“Their conditions are from serious to critical and we’re still working on the details as to what led up to this incident,” HPD Lt. Riley said.

Police said four people total were stabbed and were able to drive themselves to a nearby emergency room before being taken to the hospital.

As of right no arrests have been made. Police said they are working to learn a motive in this case.

Police are asking anyone with information who may have witnessed this incident or who may have captured it on video to contact Houston Police or Crime Stoppers.
