SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrests of two suspects accused of holding a gas station clerk at gunpoint while stealing beer.
Investigators said it happened on June 16 around 10:30 p.m. at Little Sam’s off Highway 90.
The store’s clerk involved in the incident spoke with KENS 5 anonymously. He also shared surveillance video of the robbery.
He said he is still shaken up over what happened last month but wants the guys caught.
“Please catch them,” He said.
The video shows a group of men pull up to the Chevron gas station in a green Mercury Mountaineer. Two of them are then seen making their way inside the store.
The clerk said they grabbed two cases of Corona beer.
“I scan the beer, and ask for money and they pull out their gun,” He said. “I was scared mam.”
The video shows the clerk freezing for a moment then turning his back. That’s when the suspects run off and hop into the vehicle.
The clerk said he has worked at the store for a year now and this is the first time he has been involved in a robbery. He said he does not want to leave his job but is on edge.
“Yeah, it’s hard,” He said. “I am not feeling safe.”
Crime Stoppers could pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. You can call Crime Stoppers with information at (210) 244-STOP (7867) or submit a tip online anonymous.
