SAN ANTONIO — A man died in San Antonio Police custody after being tased during an altercation Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of NE Loop 410 for a welfare check. The reported call said a man was initially walking in and out of traffic trying to open car doors.

The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
