Police release photo of suspect vehicle in fatal shooting that killed Texas coach at downtown San Antonio bar

Police said Ayden Burt was in town for a conference when she was struck by a bullet that officials believe came from the highway.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police continue searching for the suspects responsible for the murder of a Texas coach at a rooftop bar in downtown San Antonio. 

The police along with Crime Stoppers released a photo of what they believe is the suspect's car in an attempt to identify the shooter who killed Jasper ISD cheer and volleyball coach Ayden Burt, 28. 

Officers were first called to the 500 block of East Crockett at the Smoke Skybar around 12:15 a.m. for reports of a shooting on July 23. 

Police said Burt was in town for the Texas High School Coaches Association conference when she was struck by a bullet that officials believe came from the highway. She was the only one injured and sadly died from her injuries. 

San Antonio Crime Stoppers has created a $5,000 reward for anyone who has information that leads authorities to a suspect. San Antonio Police are asking anyone with information to contact their homicide hotline.
