Suspect allegedly 'took cash register' from south-side convenience store, officials need help locating him

The aggravated robbery happened on June 27 at the Mayfield Food Mart. If anyone knows anything about this incident, call 210-224-STOP.

SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers of San Antonio needs the public's help locating a suspect who allegedly robbed a convenience store of its cash register on June 27.

The alleged aggravated robbery took place at Mayfield Food Mart located at 288 W. Mayfield Blvd at about 8:30 p.m. 

According to the Crime Stoppers website, the suspect entered the convenience store armed with a handgun and demanded the 54-year-old clerk to give them money from the register.

Officials say the suspect then fired the gun in the store and "took the cash register." They left the location in a blue truck.
