SAN ANTONIO — SAN ANTONIO, Tx— A teenager was arrested twice in the same week after he allegedly threatened to harm a Bexar County Sheriff’s investigator.
According to an arrest warrant, 17-year-old Jovason Medina, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Theft of a Firearm.
When investigators interviewed Medina about the theft charge, he confessed to stealing the gun, according to police documents.
Investigators said they informed Medina his phone was being seized and would be searched for “further evidence of firearm theft,” according to arrest warrant.
After being released from jail the next day, investigators said Medina walked into the BCSO Criminal Investigation Division Headquarters and demanded to speak to the investigator handling his case, and then demanded the investigator return his phone.
Deputies said after they informed Medina he couldn’t get his phone back, Medina threatened the investigator with bodily harm.
Medina told the BCSO investigator, “I’m going to f*** you up,” then, “I’m going to kick your ass,” and before leaving Medina added, “I’m going to get you for this,” according to the arrest warrant.
After the alleged threats, the warrant goes on to say Medina then walked out the door, “where he was picked up by his mother.”
Medina is now facing a Retaliation charge for the alleged threats.
Medina was arrested Thursday and has since been released from jail after posting his $10,000 bond.
