SOMERSET, Texas — Authorities say a teen shot his mother before fatally shooting himself on Monday evening.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office responded to the 19600 block of North Dixon Street in Somerset, which is in the southwest part of the county just off of Loop 1604. They said a suspect in his late teens shot his mother multiple times in the home where they lived together, and three or four other people were in the home at the time.
Authorities are still investigating, but BCSO believes the teen shot himself and died from the injury. His mother was taken to the hospital, but authorities did not have an update on her condition Monday night.
This is a developing story.
