Teen trying to sell clothing, shot and robbed on west-side, police say

Police are still searching for the suspect.

SAN ANTONIO — A teen trying to make a sale is robbed then shot on the west side late Tuesday night, police say.

The crime scene stretched over two locations with police finding the young man store wounded in a store's parking lot.

The 17-year-old victim was able to share some details about what happened with police when they interviewed him at the hospital.

The victim told police this happened after 11 p.m. at an apartment nearby on Culebra Road. Officers believe he was selling vintage clothes and shoes when he was robbed then shot by the suspect.

Police say he drove himself to safety to a parking lot on Northwest loop 410 when he called for help. That’s where investigators found him with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is in stable condition.

They also noticed several bullet holes throughout his car.

Due to limited details, police do not have information on a suspect at this time.

If you heard or saw anything, give police a call.

This is a developing story.
