SAN ANTONIO — Three teens have been detained and police are actively searching for a fourth after they crashed a stolen car into truck and narrowly missed a west-side home Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

San Antonio police responded to a call about a vehicle crash on Buena Vista Street and South Minter Street around 1:30 p.m.

Police said four teenagers were inside a stolen white Kia heading southbound on Minter Street when they blew through a stop sign and t-boned a truck traveling eastbound on Buena Vista Street. The driver of the Kia kept going until abruptly stopping a few feet later, inches from a west-side home.

No major injuries were reported. One of the teens in the white Kia was taken to the hospital as a precaution due to "breathing problems." There was only one man in the truck and he sustained no injuries.

Authorities said one of the teen suspects fled the scene but did not determine if it was the driver or an occupant.

Police said they recovered two cellphones and the Kia showed signs of being tampered with.

The teens are being listed as suspects as detectives continue their investigation and search for the fourth teen.

Police did not say what charges the minors could face.

No other information was provided.
