Former registered sex offender accused of exposing himself to young girl multiple times, BCSO says

Sheriff Salazar called it an "extremely creepy situation."

SAN ANTONIO — A 53-year-old man is in custody and accused of repeatedly exposing his genitals to an 11-year-old girl whom Bexar County authorities say he had access to.

Sheriff Javier Salazar said Raymond Munoz, 53, would also take photos with the girl while she was asleep.

"Extremely creepy situation," Salazar said. "It just tells you what kind of sick person we're dealing with here."

According to arrest records, the child on one occasion awoke to find Munoz "lifting up her shorts and taking a picture" before he "smile, waved (and) then left."

Munoz has a lengthy history of sex offenses involving children, the sheriff said, adding that the Bexar County Sheriff's Office is looking for potential other victims in order to "send this person away for a very long time."

Munoz was arrested this week and faces a charge of indecency with a child by contact. He remains jailed on an $85,000 bond, online court records indicate, and has a court appearance scheduled for June 12.
