SAN ANTONIO -- A third suspect has been arrested a in connection to the kidnapping and subsequent torture of a Corpus Christi man.
30-year old Christopher Ray Perez was arrested Friday.
U.S. Marshals said Perez was hiding out in a hotel on Old Highway 90 West.
Perez, along with 22-year old Juan Lachel and 24-year old Vanessa Luna, were allegedly involved in luring a San Antonio man to Corpus Christi after the man responded to an online sex ad.
Reports stated that the man drove to Corpus Christi and met with Luna in a hotel room where he was attacked, tortured, and robbed by Perez and Lachel.
The man was tied up and driven to San Antonio where he was tortured further and held captive until he managed to escape and notify police.
All 3 suspects are currently being held in custody at the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
