SAN ANTONIO — A man is in critical condition after a truck hit his bike without stopping and rendering aid, according to San Antonio police.
At about 10:32 p.m. Friday night, police say a man was trying to cross the street on his bike around 200 block of Historical Highway 90. According to authorities, the bike was not using a crosswalk while crossing.
A truck then hit the rider while he was trying to cross. Authorities say the truck failed to stop and render aid.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police have not released if they know what the truck looks like or anything about the suspect. When found, the driver will be charged with collision involving serious bodily injury. The investigation continues.
