BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — Guns and equipment were stolen from a Bexar County Deputy Fire Marshal's work SUV, according to court documents.
San Antonio Police arrested Lazarus Garcia, 17, and 19-year-old Roger Sanchez in connection to the case. They're accused of posing with the county issued work items and trying to sell them on Instagram. The two are facing several charges including firearm smuggling.
According to court documents, it all stems from an October burglary on Montpelier Drive. The documents state a Bexar County Deputy Fire Marshal said he woke up and saw his work SUV with a broken window. According to the affidavit, the he noticed four county issued items were gone.

Investigators said fingerprints were taken, and prints came back to Garcia who has a previous record. The affidavit states investigators found Garcia's Instagram in which it states he posted a video of him wearing the stolen items. The affidavit also states Garcia bragged about breaking into a 'cop' car and stated he didn't do it alone. Court documents state Garcia communicated with Sanchez on Instagram.
The affidavit states, Garcia and Sanchez sent pictures of the firearms asking for cash, trades or offers to more than dozen people via messenger on the social media app.
According to jail records, Sanchez has bonds totaling $70,000. Online records show, Garcia is out on bond on partial house arrest.
