SAN ANTONIO — An investigation is underway after VIA Police discover a man bleeding from his face in downtown San Antonio early Thursday morning.
VIA officers were called to the 700 block of San Pedro Avenue around 1:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered a man who had been cut from temple to chin laying on the ground.
Authorities say as some point the man woke up and became uncooperative. He was sedated by responding paramedics and taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
VIA Police did not provide a description of the suspect.
