Victim dies after being hit by vehicle in early June, police need help finding a suspect

Antonio Gonzalez Almedia, 51, was hit while leaving La Rancherita Night Club in early June. He died from his injuries.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Crime Stoppers need help identifying a suspect who failed to stop and render aid earlier this summer.

Authorities say 51-year-old Antonio Gonzalez Almedia was leaving La Rancherita Night Club on June 2 around 1:49 a.m. Almedia was walking on foot on the 400 block of Historic Old Highway 90.

A suspect allegedly hit Almedia with a white SUV, according to a witness, and fled the scene. Almedia died due to his injuries.

Police do not have a suspect quite yet, but if anyone knows anything about this, they should call 210-224-STOP. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
