SAN ANTONIO — Two bodies have been found four days apart at the Victora Plaza Apartment complex, according to police.
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, officers were called to the complex, located in the 400 block of Barrera, for a welfare check.
When they entered the unit, officers found a man unresponsive inside. That man was pronounced dead. Evidence of foul play was found on the victim at the time.
The victim has now been identified as Nick Martinez, 59, and his cause of death was confirmed to be a homicide by sharp force injury.
On Friday, another body was found at the same apartment complex in a different unit. Officers were again called to the Victoria Plaza Apartment complex for another welfare check.
That person has been pronounced dead. They have been identified and police are now looking for the next of kin. As of right now their cause of death has not been confirmed.
Police on scene said there may be a connection between the two deaths but cannot confirm at this time due to this being an active investigation.
