SAN ANTONIO -- The District Attorney's office released more footage Friday of a fatal deputy-involved shooting that took place in late August on the city's far northwest side.

The release comes two days after a Bexar County Grand Jury voted not to indict deputies Greg Vasquez and Robert Sanchez, who shot and killed Gilbert Flores outside of his parent's home in the 24000 block of Walnut Pass.

Of the two videos, the one shot by neighbors across the street appears to have a better perspective on the incident.

"He's got a knife," a man can be heard saying in the video as deputies approach Flores. Flores then appears to attempt to enter a patrol vehicle outside of the home. Moments later, Flores emerges, and is shot by deputies.

The shooting came under public scrutiny after a video shot by a witness more than 100 yards away surfaced on social media, directly following the shooting.

Sheriff Susan Pamerleau said in a September press conference, however, that the second video captured by neighbors had a better angle of the shooting, and it was the key to figuring out exactly what happened in the moments prior to the fatal shots fired by the deputies.

Pamerleau said that video led the Sheriff's Office to believe that Flores had a knife in his hand just before he was shot. She also said at the time that Flores had both arms in the air, which caused them great concern.

"We saw Mr. Flores' hands up and then he was shot. The important thing is being able to know what happened in that sequence," Pamerleau said in the news conference.

Lahood also released 911 calls leading up to, and after the shooting. KENS 5 is working to gather those now, and add them to this story. Refresh this page for latest information.

In the first 911 call, Flores's mother is crying non-stop and it's difficult to understand what she is saying. You can hear Gilbert Flores say, in the background, "I'm not going back to prison." When the 911 dispatcher calls back, there is some confusion, but Flores says that paramedics need to be sent because he claims his wife's head is bleeding. He doesn't explain how it happened. When the dispatcher attempts to identify Gilbert as Roy, his father, he quickly affirms before hanging up.

In the second 911 call, Flores's mother is in distress, calling to report that Flores has beaten his wife as well as the baby. In the background, a man (presumably Flores) can be heard shouting, "you're gonna have to kill me, it's my time to go." Later in the call, Flores can be heard saying, "I've got a knife and I'm going to suicide by cop... I'm gonna die today."

As the call continues, the 911 dispatcher tells the woman to go to another room where she won't be around him or hear him and tells Flores's mother not to engage with him as he's yelling. Among the things you can hear him saying are, "I'm on parole. I'm not going back to prison. I'm going to die today." Flores starts responding to what the dispatcher is saying as if the phone is on a speaker setting.

Flores's mother cries throughout the call, but toward the end becomes despondent about the way her son is acting.
