SAN ANTONIO — A woman has been hospitalized after being stabbed on the east side.
Around 10:45 Wednesday morning, the San Antonio Police Department responded to the 900 block of South Cherry Street after receiving reports of a stabbing at an apartment complex.
Preliminary reports show that an argument between two women inside an apartment escalated when one of them grabbed a knife and stabbed the other.
The suspect, identified as a 32-year-old female, tried to run but was quickly located and arrested by police.
The victim, a 57-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Information on what caused the argument or the relationship between the two women has not yet been released.
