SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a woman who allegedly doused a man with gasoline before lighting him on fire.
Around 9 a.m. on Dec. 5, the woman went into a QuikTrip convenience store to purchase some items and gasoline. Police said the woman then pumped gasoline into a small drinking cup and headed to a nearby homeless area.
Authorities said upon arrival, the woman "threw the cup of gasoline on the victim and lit the gasoline causing the victim to catch on fire."
The victim was identified as a 53-year-old man and he reportedly sustained serious bodily injuries due to the fire.
The woman is facing felony aggravated assault serious bodily injury charges.
