Diaper Bank in SA to help families affected by gov't shutdown

The Texas Diaper Bank wants to help families who are without a paycheck due to the government shutdown

SAN ANTONIO — The Texas Diaper Bank is offering to help families who are without a paycheck due to the government shutdown, which was on day 26 by Wednesday.

Furloughed government employees and contractors who enroll at the Diaper Bank until February 1st will be eligible to receive six months of free diapers, wipes, hygiene products and parenting classes.

To apply, you need to have identification, proof of government employment and proof of guardianship.

The Diaper Bank is located at 1803 Grandstand Drive, near Loop 410 and Culebra.
