Troy Michael Renteria has been missing for nearly a week now, and his family says they are worried about his disappearance.

The last time anyone saw Renteria was when he was captured on a door camera at his apartment on the northwest side on Monday morning, near the Medical Center area.

Troy's family says he just stopped showing up for work, which to them was a big red flag that something was not right.

"The boss is expecting Troy in on Monday and he doesn't show up, which is in a million years, that's never happened, or would never happen from him," said Kasi Turner, Troy's mother.

When Tuesday came around, and Troy didn't show up for work again, his family contacted police.

They also went to search his apartment, there they say they found his phone charging, but no sign of him or his red Honda Accord.

"He's in a red car, he's got that with him. I mean, I have his phone, so he doesn't have that. We're not real sure. Is he sick? Did he have a wreck? We don't know, did he get hurt," said Kasi Turner.

San Antonio police have listed Renteria as an endangered missing person because of a medical condition.

Troy is 33-years-old and is 6' 1'", weighing 200 pounds.  He has a light complexion, black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing glasses.

His family describes him as loving, sweet and trusting.

"He's probably one of the goofiest people I've ever met in my life, and one of the most intelligent.  At the same time, once he puts his mind to something, there is nobody that can do it better, there's just not," said Seth Turner, Troy's brother.

His brother Seth says they would do everything together, keep in contact and is shocked by his disappearance.

"It's like my other half is missing in a in a way, that I just don't know how to cope with," said Seth Turner.

If you know where Troy could be you can contact, San Antonio Police Department's Missing Person Unit at 210-207-7660.
