SAN ANTONIO — Crews are working to put out a house fire in Wilson County Sunday morning.
Fire crews responded to the fire just before 7:00 a.m. along Highway 539 just off of Highway 87.
The house is a former restaurant that was converted into a home.
Crews say the fire was in the back of the home as well as two cars near the home.
Fuel was leaking out of the cars, causing the fire to continually burn and making it difficult for firefighters to extinguish. Crews say the low ceilings of the home was another challenge.
Two people who live in the home got out safely, along with their two pets.
Crews are still looking into the cause of the fire.
Three different agencies responded to the fire call.
