San Antonians adjust exercise routines as gyms stay closed for now

"It's really important to take care of your mental health while you're adapting to this different lifestyle," one runner said.

SAN ANTONIO — With gyms and fitness centers closed down for now in San Antonio, people are having to adjust or adapt their exercise routines. That may mean spotting a few more walkers or joggers outside than you have before. 

All while still practicing social distancing, of course. 

KENS 5 spoke to some people who had strapped on the tennis shoes and headband before heading outside on Saturday, to find out what benefits they're getting from their exercise in this time of uncertainty.
