It definitely feels like summer in Texas!
According to the National Weather Service for Austin and San Antonio, heat index values in some areas are expected to reach between 108 and 110 degrees. A heat advisory is in effect from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. this evening.
Afternoon high temperatures will range from the upper 90s across the Hill County to 100-107 degrees elsewhere.
Anyone outside this afternoon is advised to take breaks, stay hydrated and as always, wear plenty of sunscreen.
