SAN ANTONIO -- A chase through the west side of town ended with a K9 unit tracking a suspect down inside a shed.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said one of the suspects, Ivan Hernandez, was in a car possibly stolen during a robbery over the weekend.

He was in the car with a woman when the San Antonio Police Department reportedly first tried to stop him near Loop 410 and Medina Base Road.

When SAPD pulled back, Bexar County constables took over and followed the suspects to Highway 90 near Gunsmoke Street. Police said the suspects' car then crashed into the center median, and both suspects ran.

"Our deputy deployed a taser on one of the suspects. She went down for a few seconds, got back up and continued to run," Sgt. Ruben Duran with the constable's office said.

The woman made it to a nearby UHAUL location where she was taken into custody.

Investigators believe one of the suspects lost a bag of drugs while running, which they later found.

Employees at Precision Automotive near the scene said they saw the second suspect run across the highway toward their business.

A Bexar County Sheriff's office deputy and K9 unit were told to check a shed in the back, which is where Hernandez was found.

BCSO later released a statement that Hernandez is suspected in a Saturday robbery.
