SAN ANTONIO — A local mother turning to technology to spread the word on her son’s unsolved murder.
Tuesday marks eight years since Aaron Rocha was killed in a road rage shooting.
Police say it happened on Huebner Road near Lockhill Selma Road on the north side. It’s the same spot where his mother Lori has a roadside memorial in honor of her son.
To observe the day, she will be handing out water bottles that include a QR code.
It will connect users to a social media page about her fight for justice.
“We will be giving water bottles with a QR code which will lead you to the Justice for Aaron [Facebook page] and that’s just another way to keep awareness out in the community,” said Lori Rocha, Aaron’s mother. “If you know something, say something. Its been eights years, it's time.”
If you know anything about this case, call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.
A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
