SAN ANTONIO -- Accused San Antonio police killer Otis McKane is scheduled to appear in court Thursday for the first time since being arrested in the death of San Antonio police officer Benjamin Marconi.
Detective Marconi was shot outside police headquarters last month while sitting in his patrol car.
McKane was arrested the next day.
He claims he shot Detective Marconi because he was upset about a child-custody case and wasn't allowed to see his son.
McKane is now charged with capital murder.
