SAN ANTONIO -- Air Force investigators are looking into the death of a trainee who collapsed during physical training at Lackland Air Force Base on Thursday.
Trainee Terron J. Moore was pronounced dead at Southwest General Hospital at 9:40 p.m. Moore had been transported from Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland just after 5 p.m, according to a press release.
This is a tragic event and the men and women of the 37th Training Wing are grieving the loss of a fellow Airman, said Col. Mark Camerer, 37th Training Wing commander. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this very difficult time.
Grief counselors have been made available to Trainee Moore's flight mates and instructors.
