Have you noticed a large blue truck popping up around town? It's a new way Amazon is bringing daily deals to the Alamo City.
The Amazon Treasure Truck launched in September. San Antonio is one of 25 U.S. cities with a treasure truck.
Amazon says that the truck will feature a new deal every day in limited quantities. Amazon app users can sign up to be notified via text for alerts on the daily special.
Users can purchase the featured item through the app, and then head to the store to pick it up. Once the deal is sold out, the Amazon Treasure Truck packs up and moves on to a new location.
Amazon says they "hand-pick" items to feature at the truck, and that the items will be "favorite new, trending, local, or delicious items."
